Same as the base model for 1987, except for, or in addition to:
Exterior:
- Color-matched mirror housings
- Color-matched fender flares
- Wolfsburg Edition badges on front fenders
Interior:
- The Alpine White model came with a "triple white" package, with a white body, white leather interior, and matching white top.
- Flash Silver models came with a gray and blue leather interior, with matching gray top.
- Helios Blue models came with a gray and blue leather interior, with matching gray top.
- Titian Red models came with a gray and red leather interior, with a matching gray top.
- Havanna Brown models came with a brown and beige leather interior, with a matching beige top.
- Graphite Black models came with white leather interiors, and a white top.
